Compensation:          $44 per hour to $55.00 per hour + 4% of bi-weekly earnings in lieu of vacation time + 7% of bi-weekly earnings in lieu of benefits
Contract term:           6 months with the possibility of extension (Estimated 3-year pension transformation project)

Position Summary

Our organization is embarking on an estimated 3-year long pension transformation project. This is a critical project for the organization, and we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Project Coordinator to support the team during the implementation of the new Pension Administration software. Reporting to the Project lead, the VP of Pension Administration, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to plan and coordinate project management activities, track progress, and ensure the project milestones are completed on time. The contract position is 6 months, with a possibility of extension.

  What will I do?

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Support the end-to-end Encore project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of the project.
  • Liaise between the Pension Administration, Retirement Services and third-party vendor teams throughout the project duration.
  • Coordinate project activities, including task assignments and timelines, to ensure smooth execution.
  • Maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, reports, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Provide timely, comprehensive reports containing regular project updates, changes, and recommendations.
  • Inform VP of Pension Administration and other stakeholders of upcoming tasks, project status and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, and work with the project manager and other stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate and contribute to project meetings or presentations.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and training activities to ensure smooth transition and adoption of the new software system at the TTCPP.
  • Support change management efforts to ensure optimal project impact.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle, applying tools and processes as per TTCPP’s internal standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What will help me be successful?

Education 

  • High-school diploma or post-secondary education or equivalent work experience as a project coordinator.

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator supporting software implementation projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as MS Project, Agile, and Scrum.
  • Experience working with software vendors and third-party service providers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and quality.
  • Working experience using SAP and/or SuccessFactors is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suites (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) or similar office tools.
